ok.... so we saw some nifty jigs for a circular rosette... (I wish I had one of yours Tony!!!, Wait a minute!!! I do!!!  ).... has anyone put together any kind of jig for an oval, or any other shaped sound hole? I saw a D'Aquisto Acoustic that made me drool... any thought on how to do that?

Ellipse trammels are not too hard to rig up. For anything else I'd think you'd just need to make a pattern and rout it out. |
